I started flying RC at age 11 and have been an active modeler for nearly 38
years. Over those years I've competed in pattern, helicopter, slope racing,
scale aerobatic, and thermal duration soaring events. Right now my two main
interests are scale aerobatics and thermal duration soaring competition.
I am the Director of the JR-SCAT Series and have run the Series since early
2001. In that time I have been the CD of over 22 large (40 + pilots) scale
aerobatics events.
I am also an IMAC member (#2156). I compete regularly in both JR-SCAT Series
events and IMAC events in the SW Region. I am also very active in the AMA
(Leader Member 4172) and serve as an Associate Vice President (AVP) for
District X.
I went to college in Tucson and I'm looking forward to getting back there.
Go Wildcats!!
