8 time IMAC Scale Aerobatics National Championship finalist (2001-2008) including the 2007 Unlimited IMAC National Champion, 2007 Canadian IMAC Unlimited National Champion, and 2001 Sportsman IMAC National Champion. 4 time Tucson Shootout Invitational class competitor (5th in 2007), 3 time Don Lowe Masters competitor (6th in 2003), Clover Creek Invitational class competitor, and XFC Extreme Flight Championships competitor. Winner of over 80 IMAC competitions over the past 8 years. Kurt currently serves as a member of the AMA Scale Aerobatics Contest Board and IMAC National Sequence Committee.
